Those in internal audit at PwC help build, optimise and deliver end-to-end internal audit services to clients in all industries. This includes IA function setup and transformation, co-sourcing, outsourcing and managed services, using AI and other risk technology and delivery models. IA capabilities are combined with other industry and technical expertise, in areas like cyber, forensics and compliance, to address the full spectrum of risks. This helps organisations to harness the power of IA to help the organisation protect value and navigate disruption, and obtain confidence to take risks to power growth.

The Opportunity
As part of the Risk & Reg - Business Controls team you are expected to support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. As an Intern/Trainee you are expected to perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments and learning about developing your personal brand. This role emphasizes gaining exposure and learning new skills, and performing basic tasks to contribute to project goals. You are given the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting varying challenges and scope, and you are encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds benefit for our clients and contributes to our team’s success.

What Sets You Apart
- Preferred Cumulative GPA: 3.3
- Preferred Major GPA: 3.3
- Preferred field of study: Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Management Information Systems & Accounting, Computer and Information Science & Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Information Technology & Accounting
- Knowledge of risks affecting companies and management decision making
- Understanding of complex IT environments and auditing
- Understanding of application controls and IT general controls
- Knowledge of financial reporting concepts and Corporate Governance
- Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley Act's regulations and requirements
- Problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Interaction with various levels of client and firm management

The salary range for this position is: $37.00 - $48.00. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
