**Description** **Business Development Capture Manager-- Remote Role** **Job Summary:** V2X's transportation solutions group is currently seeking a Business Development and Capture Manager for its Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Commercial Airport projects. This individual will provide leadership and technical expertise in the airport security technology market in support of TSA and Airport stakeholders. The V2X has a nationwide footprint and experience in the Checkpoint and Checked Baggage areas of U.S. airports **Job Description:** The position is responsible for supporting the overall business development strategy for the U.S. airport services business. This includes developing and implementing the capture strategy, identifying and developing new business opportunities, writing proposals, leading gate reviews, developing and reporting metrics, and meeting booking objectives. The individual must be an entrepreneurial leader with business development and sales skills to grow the airport services business. The position will represent solutions and capabilities by conducting timely capability overviews and solution sessions with TSA, airport and General Contractor customers, building brand equity and industry recognition through its services, leveraging the strength and success of V2X offerings to turn opportunities into sales. This position is fully remote with travel to V2X offices as needed as well as customer, partner sites, and industry conferences. Daily phone and online meetings as well as strong and proactive communication are required. **Required** **_Skills_** + 8+ years' TSA experience with operations in the checkpoint and checked baggage area of airports. + 10+ years' airport security screening equipment, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM); e.g. Leidos, Smiths, Ceia + Won >$500M in direct sales to TSA with an OEM in either the checkpoint or checked baggage areas. + History of growth in sales in the TSA/Airport industry + Ability to author and present reports and briefs based on analysis of opportunities with TSA and airports directly. + Represent the voice of customer and critical customer requirements to business stakeholders. + Working knowledge of TSA and airport operations + Experience in the proposal management process from opportunity identification to contract award. + Attend and represent the company at industry forums, conferences, workshops and customer meetings. + Strong understanding of the FAR and commercial terms contracting + Ability to work outside of normal business schedule including nights and weekends + Ability to travel up to 10% of the time + Excellent written, oral and presentation skills + Excellent presentation development skills **_Desired Skills:_** + Ability to work on other programs or projects as needed or directed by V2X management. + Familiarity with new business development budgeting, tracking, and development + Comfort working directly with senior level stakeholders and V2X management + Understanding of broad agency announcements (BAAs). + Experience partnering with TSA, airport authorities, and design firms. + Experience developing and implementing a strategy targeting the aviation market, including global air transportation and airport and airline influencers. + Use of airport-installed base metrics and dashboards conversion to increase market share. + Formulated and developed 5 year sales plans. **Required** **_Education_** + Bachelor's (BS) Degree in a Marketing, Business or Engineering from an accredited institution **_Desired Education_** + Masters's (MS) Degree in Business or Engineering discipline from an accredited institution Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
