Job Description

WAND-TV is searching for a Production Director/Graphics Operator.  This person will be responsible for directing newscasts some days, and then run graphics other days.  The schedule may vary, however this will initially be Monday-Thursday and Saturday. This position has a pay range of $15-$17 per hour based on experience.

E SSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Direct/Technical Direct live newscasts and other events.
• Run Graphics and videos during live newscasts and other events.
• Run studio cameras when called upon.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong knowledge/understanding of digital video/audio applications.
• General experience in television is preferred.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office & File-based workflows
• Detail oriented.
• Drive to learn.
• Available nights and weekends.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Education:  High school diploma required. College degree or work toward a degree preferred.
• Experience:  Studio experience preferred.  Stage managing experience preferred.
• Computer Skills:  Experience with Microsoft applications including Windows operating systems.  Knowledge of Windows based media applications is preferred.
