Responsibilities:
Record Keeping: Accurately and promptly record all financial transactions.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and as-needed financial reports.
Accounts Management: Manage accounts receivable and payable processes efficiently.
Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of payments, expenditures, and bank statements.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and company policies and regulations.
Budget Management: Assist with budget preparation and monitor ongoing expenses.
Inventory Management: Track and report on inventory, including pricing and adjustments.
What You Need to Succeed:
Education: An associate degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
Experience: At least two years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in the hospitality or resort industry.
Skills: Proficiency with accounting software like QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Problem-solving: Strong ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
Flexibility: Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
