Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring smooth daily financial operations, and assisting with financial reports and tax preparation. Whether you're looking for a full-time or part-time opportunity, we offer flexible scheduling to fit your needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately record daily financial transactions and post them in the appropriate ledgers.
Ensure transactions are recorded correctly in day books, supplier and customer ledgers, and the general ledger.
Reconcile books and bring them to the trial balance stage.
Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll efficiently.
Prepare, file, and organize financial documents as required.
Reconcile company accounts to verify accuracy.
Support tax payment and return preparation.
Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports to aid in decision-making.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in bookkeeping.
Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, FreshBooks).
Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred, but not required.
