This company is looking for an experienced individual who has worked within a construction company as a Bookkeeper! TYPE: Contract(Potential for conversion) 20 hours per week LOCATION: 100% Onsite in San Leandro PAY: $28-$30/hour SCHEDULE: Flexible The ideal candidate has experience with Quickbooks and Job Costing! salary: $28 - $30 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 12 PM education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and prepare payments, ensuring proper coding and approval. Track and reconcile accounts payable and maintain payment records. Generate and send customer invoices, recording incoming payments accurately. Follow up on overdue invoices and assist in collections. Reconcile bank statements with accounting records, identifying discrepancies and posting journal entries. Enter financial transactions into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and proper coding. Assist with month-end closing, providing data for financial reports. Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents and support audits as needed. Assist with general ledger maintenance and provide support for financial reporting.
