Cafe Lift opened 21 years ago. It was husband and wife, Michael and Jeniphur Pasquarello’s vision to create a restaurant that would not only be progressive in its location, but in the food that they would be serving. As a cafe they strived to push the boundaries of what a bruncherie could be, and placed a strong emphasis on supporting the region's farmers and purveyors. 21 years on, that same drive and passion has not changed!

As part of the 13th Street Kitchens restaurant group ( La Chinesca, Prohibition Taproom ), Cafe Lift has acted as a cornerstone and compass to our groups' ambitions. Open 8am-3pm daily, Cafe Lift serves Brunch to scores of loyal guests. We are currently seeking a genuine and hospitable  Barista to round out our team. We are looking for someone with a passion for helping others, producing a great product, and delicious coffee.

Job Duties:
-Brewing coffee and tea daily throughout the shift.
-Operating our espresso machine and producing coffee drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos in a timely manner.
-Preparing large batches of cold brew coffee, chai, and other beverages. 
-Maintaining a clean and neat workspace. 
-Rotating stock to ensure product freshness.
-Ownership of station.
-Communicating with fellow FOH staff, our kitchen team, management, and guests. 
-Thorough closing responsibilities to ensure cleanliness. 

Skills:
-Working knowledge of how Espresso machines operate.
-Ability to produce a large number of drinks in a timely manner.
-Knowledge about coffee, espresso, and tea.
-Friendly and kind to both guests and coworkers. 
-Latte Art abilities are not required, but they're pretty rad!
