Job Title: Authorization Specialist
Location:  Nashville, TN (hybrid schedule- onsite Tues/Weds, remote on Monday, Thursday and Friday)

Job Description:
The Authorization Specialist will be responsible for owning the patient benefits process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage appeals by coordinating with payors and submitting necessary clinical documentation.
  • Handle complex prior authorizations, including those related to surgeries, procedures, and chemotherapy.
  • Apply knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to ensure accuracy in documentation and authorization processes.
  • Submit authorizations and follow up on benefits information for patients.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of authorizations experience
  • Oncology experience is a HUGE plus!
  • Detail-oriented work ethic.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage complex tasks.

  • Ability to navigate complex healthcare documentation and processes.
  • Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
