Job Description

Christ Church is looking for a dynamic, reliable, passionate, and hard-working Audio Engineer to assist with the live mixing of sound for events, promos & worship services.  The individual will work closely with the Worship and Creative Arts team and The Christ Church Collective to provide outstanding live and recorded sound. 
Duties and responsibilities include:

• Operate, test, improve, set up, maintain, and regularly inspect all audio equipment prior to and during live services and events.
• Liaise with Teaching Pastor or Campus Pastor to accommodate any feedback and make any adjustments as needed.
• Liaise with Worship Team (live band, worship leaders, backup singers, etc.) to ensure proper testing and readiness for live performance and provide support during live services/events.
• Adjust sound levels and EQ as needed during live services/events.
• Coordinate with visual, computer graphics, and lighting teams to ensure all are in sync.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Flexibility is vital for this role.
• Ideal candidate may be expected to be on-call, work evenings, weekends, and late hours as needed.
• Very Strong interpersonal skillsthe ability to work with various individuals.
• Degree in Audio Engineering and/or Audio Production (or related field) is preferred, though not required and experience and coachability will be considered
• Experience with digital consoles, Studio One /Ableton, and Dante audio networking a strong plus.
