Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of workers’ compensation defense cases from inception to resolution.
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, including depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Conduct thorough case evaluations and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and team members to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of California workers’ compensation laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
- 1–10 years of experience in workers’ compensation defense or a related field.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
