VCA Lafayette Animal Hospital located in Lafayette, Indiana is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.
Our recently renovated hospital offers a state of the art surgical suite along with a separate dental suite. We offer digital radiography, ultra sound and digital dental radiography. We are a 4-5 doctor practice with eight registered veterinary technicians. Ten veterinary assistants are on hand to assists the doctors directly during appointments and follow up. We have a separate CSR team that is exceptional in handling phone triage and making sure that valuable doctor time is scheduled appropriately. We have a stable base of loyal, exceptional clients who value the experience, expertise and care that our staff provides them.
We are a general practice/urgent care facility open 6 days a week, currently 7am-6pm. Our regular doctor schedule is 4-5 days per week with rotating Saturdays.
The Lafayette/West Lafayette community is a college town (Purdue) and a great place to plant your roots. We are located in Midwest Indiana, one hour north of Indianapolis and 1 1/2 hours south of Chicago. Lafayette offers a small town feel with big city amenities a short drive away. Lafayette has one of the lowest costs of living along with one of the best public school systems in the country (West Lafayette). Lafayette and surrounding areas offer tons of outdoor opportunities for trail hikes and camping (state parks within a 1/2 hour drive). Downtown Lafayette is a thriving area offering amazing small restaurants offering multinational cuisines as well as vegetarian and vegan options. Both Lafayette and West Lafayette offer farmers markets through most of the year.
We value our community and enjoy giving back by supporting community services and events as often as possible, including Meals on Wheels, Pride Lafayette, Lafayette Police department canines, Almost Home Humane Society, My New Cat Rescue, The Tippecanoe County Senior Center and Seeds of Hope. We started and currently run the Animeals program for our local Meals on Wheels where we provide food and essential services to Meals on Wheels participants who struggle to feed their pets.
