Apply today! Minimum Requirements - Must be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident authorized to work in the United States
- Must hold a valid Tennessee Armed Security License (Guard Card) No exceptions
- Proficient in firearms handling with the ability to qualify on additional weapons if required
- At least 2years of experience as a security officer
- Good moral character with no convictions for DUI, domestic violence, drug/narcotics offenses, theft, or other dishonest acts
- Must not have been dishonorably discharged from U.S. military service
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- No physical limitations that would prevent the safe performance of required duties
- Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure
- Basic computer skills needed to operate security-related equipment
Key Responsibilities - Monitor and operate CCTV and other security systems to protect people, property, and assets
- Conduct regular patrols to deter, detect, and report suspicious or unsafe activity
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and incidents; document and report all findings
- Enforce access control procedures, verify identification, and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas
- Deliver professional customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or other team members when necessary to maintain safety
- Maintain a strong security presence while enforcing property rules, by-laws, and applicable city, county, and state regulations
- Communicate critical information clearly and effectively to clients and fellow officers
- Assess and respond to potential risks while upholding all agency policies and standard operating procedures
