Job Description

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge thermal management systems that enhance the performance and efficiency of aircraft, contributing to safer and more reliable air travel. The annual base salary range for this position is $102,000 - $127,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Key Responsibilities + Lead the design and development of tubular Compact Heat Exchangers for aerospace applications. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define thermal requirements and specifications. + Perform thermal analysis and simulations to ensure product performance and reliability. + Design and develop advanced mechanical systems and components for various applications + Conduct analysis and simulations to optimize mechanical designs for performance and efficiency + Create detailed engineering drawings and documentation + Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise and recommendations + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in mechanical design and engineering YOU MUST HAVE + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics. + 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development, specifically in thermal systems. + Strong knowledge of heat exchanger design principles and methodologies + Expertise in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA WE VALUE + Advanced Engineering degrees like ME (Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent + Experience in the design and development of aerospace thermal systems + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment + Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to heat exchangers Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
